Miura’s innovation described by Nesta and the Cabinet Office as a ‘game-changer’
At Miura we are proud to be able to announce that our very own social enterprise, Photofoundation, has been selected to receive financial support from the Innovation in Giving Fund, managed by Nesta and funded by the Cabinet Office. Photofoundation was selected as one of sixteen projects, from 140, to be awarded seed funding from the £10m fund. Photofoundation will receive £50,000 as well as a programme of non-financial support. Our platform has been quoted as a ‘game-changer’ in its space and with the assistance of these funds we will accelerate the platforms growth and development.
Photofoundation was born out of our Miura_Lab and innovation programme via Orange’s ‘Do Some Good’ initiative back in 2011. Since then it won the Charity Times – Best Use of Technology Commendation Award and the platform has been steadily growing and gaining momentum and image donations.
Miura’s enterprise innovation programme is a one of a kind. If your organisation is committed to innovation and you have big ambitions shouldn’t you be talking to us?
